Travel Insurance:
It is essential that when you leave home you are covered with medical insurance, cancellation insurance and travel insurance.
We offer the following policies in conjunction with Manulife Global Travel Insurance. We offer special policies with reduced premiums for those clients not staying in the USA for more than 48 hours.
All Inclusive Travel Insurance
Coverage Included:
- Up to $5 million Emergency Medical
- Up to the covered amount, for Trip Cancellation before your client leaves home
- Unlimited Trip Interruption, Misconnection and Delayed Return after departure (some maximum benefits do apply).
- Up to $100,000 Flight Accident
- Up to $50,000 Travel Accident
- Up to $500 Baggage Delay if your checked baggage is delayed 10 hours of landing at destination
- Up to $1,500 Baggage coverage if your baggage is damaged or lost
Features:
- Family coverage plans available if all family members to be insured are under age 60 and live in the same home
- Change of Mind – 50% of the non-refundable prepaid portion of your trip will be covered providing you cancel 16 days or more before your departure date as shown on your confirmation. This coverage is only applicable is you purchase your insurance at time of first payment.
- Children under two years of age (and older than 30 days) are covered at no extra cost
Non Medical Inclusive Insurance
This policy offers all of the above but has a reduced rate because it includes no medical component. This is an ideal policy for those that have medical coverage plans through employers.
Trip Cancellation
This policy is best suited to people who simply want basic trip cancellation and interruption insurance.
Coverage included:
- Up to the covered amount, for Trip Cancellation before you leave home.
- Trip Interruption, Misconnection and Delayed Return after your departure for your choice of $800, $1500 or unlimited coverage.
Features:
- Change of Mind – 50% of the non-refundable prepaid portion of your trip will be covered providing you cancel 16 days or more before your departure date as shown on your confirmation. This coverage is only applicable is you purchase your insurance at time of first payment.
- No maximum age limit.
Medical Insurance
This coverage includes expenses for emergent care during your trip.
Coverage included:
- Up to $5 million CDN for emergency medical expenses
- Medical service provider expenses, including those of a hospital, any physicians or nurses.
- Expenses relating to test to determine the diagnosis of any emergent medical condition.
- Transportation home when medically necessary, including air ambulance or a stretcher with a medical attendant.
- Emergency dental or chiropractic care,
- Flying a friend or family member to your hospital bedside, plus their hotel and meal expenses.
- Death benefit to ensure remains are taken care of at the destination or returned home.
